BOULVARDIER VARIATION

30ml White Oak ‘Akashi NAS’ Single Malt Whiskey

45ml Sweet Vermouth (Carpano Antica Formula is brillant)

20ml Red Shiso liqueur 

3 drops bitters (Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters or similar)

Garnish: 1 Orange

In a mixing glass add the Whiskey, Vermouth and Shiso liqueur. Add 2/3rds of ice and stir down, until the glass frosts. 

Strain into tumbler with a large ice cube. 

Garnish with a zest of orange.
