This extremely limited release of the 5YO. Ariake Sangyo (based in Kyoto) is the only company in Japan making western style barrels for storage of wine and spirits. This cask was made with American Oak (New) and the new make spent 5 years in this cask. The Whisky was then finished in used Oloroso sherry barrels. Only 1000 bottles were produced.
