The Terada Honke brewery is in the town of Kozaki in Chiba prefecture and was founded in 1673. They make naturally brewed sake using only organic rice and all the work is done by hand. The current Toji (Master Brewer) & Kuramoto (Brewery Owner) at Terada Hanke is Masaru Terada who is the 24th generation of his family to operate the brewery.
This sake is made from Yukigesho rice polished to only 80% remaining. A vibrant and robust style of sake with hints of spice. The palate is layered and textured with bold acidity and a long finish.
